This month we each chose a book of poetry to read, but ended up delving more broadly into poetry as well. We also wrote a poem as a team! Poets covered include Katheriea Vermette, Dorothy Parker, Charles Bukowski, and Robert Frost, among others.

“This Be The Verse” by Philip Larkin. (Under-rated British poet AND LIBRARIAN. The words of the last stanza were also the final words of Count Olaf in the Series of Unfortunate Events).
How a Poem Moves by Adam Sol. A blog by Canadian poet Adam Sol, where each post starts with a poem and is followed by a short commentary as to why he likes the poem. Many of these posts have been converted into short chapters for a recently published book of the same name.
